Waterbird Count – 8 September

Good day for goose migration today! Several large flocks flew south right over the count site, though unfortunately we didn’t have any Cacklings mixed in. Pretty strong north winds throughout the morning, which died down in the afternoon. I was expecting to see more duck and grebe activity with the weather, but aside from the geese it was a pretty quiet day.
