Our banding session was cut short for the second night in a row by rain last night. Managed to capture four new saw whets in the four hours we were open. During the 11 pm net run at the TC site there was a very large porcupine lumbering by just several feet from the nets. Fortunately it steered clear of the nets. Would have hated to send Michael back to extract it from the nets!
