Waterbird Count – 6 September

Another quiet day today for waterbirds. A handful of Common Loons were on the move in the morning, but most of the day’s activity was cormorants. The Hooded Mergansers and Common Mergansers were hanging around the beach still, but given the north winds today I’m surprised that no ducks were on the move.
