Although the visibility today had improved overall, the intermittent snow in the early hours seemed to slow down migration movement, and made what few birds were out there even more difficult to see. The temperature today was held firm at 33°F, with winds ranging from six to nine miles per hour from the northwest. Overall, not great weather to be a bird in migration, or someone waiting for them to come through. However, the loons and cormorants were back in force compared to the previous two days. One additional hallmark for the day was the fact that this was the first day of the season where no Canada Geese were seen or heard.
